Ever been to Kisumu? Here we call it ‘Yurop’ 😃...The warm breeze, the nice ambiance around the Lake region? Kisumu serves as the capital city of Kisumu County, Kenya. Well, Flutter Kisumu is a fast-growing community of developers around the Western region of Kenya. The community kicked off last year to enable developers to learn and share knowledge revolving around Flutter and its associated technologies.

Thank you for attending and speaking at our 2021 events, we highly appreciate it. Below are highlights of this years’ events lineup.

4. How to improve your UI skills

Whether you’re a Front end engineer, UI Designer, or even solo developer working on side projects, there are various techniques you could learn that would help you in crafting beautiful, usable, effective & functional interfaces. Attention to every detail is what separates a great & successful product from one that is not. Learning how to use these techniques boils down to restraint & thoughtful implementation. Remember: don’t use a technique because it exists, however, use it because it makes sense in your context.

In this session, Glorious Vuyanzi took us through how to improve your UI skills by making constant tweaks that go a long way in improving the user's experience as they interact with the products you’ve helped develop or design.
